What an adventure this was! It took us a LONG, LONG time to get this 34 mile ride done. Since we didn't finish until after dark it made that last final descent, the steepest on the entire TransAm, REALLY SUPER SCARY. Before things got scary, though, we saw some breath taking views and there was hardly any traffic. What a beautiful riding day it was for us. Truly unforgettable. We took way too many pictures. We really enjoyed our ride, however, on a sad note, this happened just the day before we rode through there: Shooting on Parkway Seeing the police tape around the area where this tragedy happened was very sad. We hope both of the victims survive and we are happy to report they caught the killer yesterday, a 56 yr old mechanic who did not know his victims. When we rode through there, he hadn't been caught yet.
