Eleven More Days

“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese

It's all about getting out of our comfort zones.  That is what allows us to experience what we are here to experience, and it's how we grow into our potential. Too often I think we stay wrapped up in our lives to the point where we are really missing out on the wonderful world around us.  Sure the world can be harsh and unforgiving and bad things can happen, but that is no reason to stay home on the couch watching tv!  If you stay "safe" at home you miss out on the richness and beauty that comes with living an adventuresome life.  Instead of fearfully clinging to what we know, how about if we just let go and trust in the process?  (That being said, lets see if I still feel this way in 11 days, or in 6 months - LOL!)
